Since the beginning of the war between Israel/ U.S and Iran, I have been photographing across Israel, documenting the people who live through it.
In this work, I’m looking to show the human behind this war — the people, the faces, life within this reality.
What interests me is not only the event itself, but what it does to daily life and to those who experience it.
I chose to photograph in black and white to strip the images down to their essentials and to distance them from the constant flow of color images we see every day in the news and on social media.
This is an ongoing body of work, an attempt to understand and show what it means to live inside this war.
